About us
Owners and operators Jackson and Elizabeth along with their daughter Willow, are starting an exciting adventure together. Both Jack and Liz come from fishing families.
Jack is a fourth generation commercial fisherman in the Kaikoura area who has grown up on the ocean. He was destined to be a fisherman from his first word being fish to catching the family goldfish with a spoon at the age of two! Yes, you read that right, a goldfish with a spoon. Did we mention he was two? Eventually, Jack decided to ditch the spoon to start working for his father. Over the last eight years predominately fishing for crayfish, he has learned a lot about the ocean, passed down through generations in his family.
Liz grew up learning to catch fish with her father in the tropical waters of Mexico. Her father ran his own fishing charter company catching big game fish like marlin and swordfish all the way to targeting bone fish with a fly rod!
So it’s safe to say that these two grew up with an affinity for the ocean. Jack and Liz now want to show their daughter the immense enjoyment that comes from a life on the ocean.
